Let's start with the basics: What are you wearing?

The goth kid uniform: Black jeans, black shirt and every accessory I own. Something on trend with my favourite old military jacket thrown on top. What ever's on my bedroom floor. Probably some ripped jeans and a flannel. Because I spend all my time at work - office clothes.. sigh. A wedding dress/ suit. Ran from the altar to be here. I like to keep it chill: cargo pants, a band tee and maybe some handmade bracelets.

What best represents the kind of music you like?

Aggressive and sorrowful. Rich in storytelling with intricate guitar melodies. Full of metaphor and poetry whilst also being a bit catchy. Something experimental and abstract. You wouldn't get it. Emotional and political, doesn't matter if it's a bit rough around the edges. Well produced, so you can really hear the complex instrumentation.

What's your dream job?

Pilot! Wait, actually on second thought... anything where my life is not in danger. Marriage counselor. So I can break up marriages. Tarot card reader. Anything that's not the office job I have now. Philosophy lecturer. Lead singer.

And what do you spend your free time doing?

Doing shows with my theater group. Writing love songs for other people. Crashing, wait I mean driving my car. Signing divorce papers... Performing my poetry at open mic nights. Landscape painting.

Geoff, politically driven golden-retriever kind of a guy. Andrew, the sweet silly guy people forget was in the band. Tucker, a ball of laughs and energy with a never-ending passion for his work. Steve, the secret genius with a no-nonsense attitude. Tim, solid and reliable with a quiet confidence. Tom, has the ability to make everyone laugh with his sarcastic, dry humor.

Where's your "happy place"?

The train tracks, reminds me that there are places that aren't here. Any place I can call my own, surrounded by my favourite records. My basement/ garage, any dark place where I can write. The big city, getting lost in the crowds and skyscrapers. The state of New Jersey. The park, especially in autumn-time with the orange leaves.
